Welcome to Versatile Virtual Assistant. It is my pleasure and passion to provide creative and professional support services to individuals and businesses, or anyone who needs to find more time to run their business instead of the other way around.
Several years ago, I happened upon the industry of "Virtual Assisting" when I was conducting a search for local administrative job openings. Intrigued, I searched for more information on this innovative idea and knew that I had hit upon something that sparked my imagination, something that I could do because it's what I have been doing for so many years. The great thing about this is that I get to be the boss.
As a Navy veteran, in the field of telecommunications, I've traveled and worked all over the U.S. and abroad. These experiences have provided me with unique skills and perspectives. Upon my return to civilian life, I attended a local business college to refresh my skills and learn some new ones. I then ventured into the corporate world of the oil and gas industry.
With over 20 years of office and administrative experience, I offer a vast array of diverse skills, specializing in the Microsoft Office Suite applications. The positions I've held have ranged from receptionist, switchboard operator, secretary, sales and marketing assistant, executive assistant and administrative specialist. All of these required decision making capabilities, multi-tasking skills as well as the ability to take on new challenges. The majority of my experience has been acquired through on-the-job experience and company sponsored training programs, as well as continuing education and many hours of self study.
I am adept at picking up technical skills, specifically in the area of computers. Having an educational background in fine arts, creativity is integrated into the services I provide my clients. I am passionate about my work and sincerely wish to provide my clients the very best virtual assistance experience possible.
